THIS WEEKEND, THOUSANDS of punters will descend on Dublin’s Marlay Park for Longitude.
This year, the festival boasts dozens of food stands, meaning that you’ll be spoiled for choice.
But where should you go?
1. Pitt Bros BBQ Project
The extremely popular George Street haunt is bringing its barbecue goodness to Longitude this weekend. Expect loooong queues for this one.
2. Zero Zero Pizza
Authentic wood fired pizzas that Peter Coonan described as “sumptuous”. (According to the website.)
That’s good enough for us.
3. Paddy Paella
You might not typically associate paella with Roscommon, but Paddy Paella has been serving up Spanish street food at all of this summer’s gigs, much to the delight of Irish punters.
Gimme.
4. Home Fries
Home Fries will be serving up pan-fried baby potatoes this weekend i.e. he perfect savoury snack to pick away at during a gig.
5. Saba
Fan of Thai cuisine? Saba will be serving up curries and noodles all weekend.
6. The Dublin Cookie Co.
The Dublin Cookie Co. will have American-style cookies for sale this weekend. You know, for when your sugar levels are running dangerously low.
7. Pieminister
It’s basically enshrined in festival law that Pieminister be present at every music festival. And for that we are grateful.
Properly good festival comfort food especially if, God forbid, it rains.
8. The Sausage Experience
Look at that sausage sandwich. Are you telling us that doesn’t look divine?
Treat yourself to one this weekend.
9. McCormack Farms
If you’re driving or simply not drinking this weekend, knock over to McCormack’s Farms stand to grab yourself a raw juice.
Healthy and a solid change from the old sparking water.
